Privacy Policy

Clear Path Tarot is operated as a small independent service. This page explains what we do and do not collect. Plain language, no legal padding.

No account, no personal profile

You can use Clear Path Tarot without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, or phone number, and we do not build a profile about you.

Your question

If you type an optional question, it is sent to our server and passed to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to write your reading. It is not saved to a database, not stored in server logs by us, and never included in any analytics event. Once your reading is returned, we no longer hold it. Anthropic processes it as a data processor under its own terms; see anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

Readings stored in your browser

Your full reading is saved in your own browser so you can reload the page or come back to it later without it changing. It stays on your device, is never uploaded to us, and is removed automatically after 30 days. Clearing your browser data removes it immediately.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count how many people view the page, start a reading, and click through. It is cookieless and does not track you across other websites. The only details attached to those counts are which topic was chosen, whether a question was typed (yes or no — never the text), and which reading engine produced the result.

Advertising

If you arrived from an ad, the advertising platform may set its own identifiers according to its policies. Any advertising or conversion tags in use are listed here when they are added.

Technical data

Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request data such as IP address for security and abuse prevention. We use your IP address only in memory, and only to limit how many readings can be requested in a short period. We do not store it.

Payments

Paid readings are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy terms apply to that transaction.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data tied to you, there is normally nothing for us to export or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, contact us and we will look into it.
